Childhood obesity is nothing more than an epidemic in the present scenario. It is an epidemic which can be termed as a problem and carries negative aspects with it as well. Obesity and unhealthy eating habits might turn out be problematic or even fatal. It can cause high blood pressure, various heart related diseases, strokes etc. Well when there is a problem, let us put light to certain things- the three simple steps to maintain proper Weight in Children.

First step to maintain proper Weight in Children is eating nutritiously. Led by epidemiologist Sarah Anderson, researchers analyzed data on 4-year-olds in a national study. It was found that the children who practiced healthy

behavior were less prone to the obesity. This is the matter of abject importance because food is what makes us either healthy or unhealthy. So if a nutritious diet is introduced, the risk of obesity and related problems simply vanishes. Eating nutritious comprises of eating variety of fruits and vegetables. The diet should be low on salt and added sugar should be avoide d.

Reducing Television time is second step to maintain proper Weight in Children. Television also termed as Stupid Box is really a stupid practice if carried out beyond the margin. Excess of anything is bad and so it implies with TV viewing. It is the most easy thing to do as you lay down on your couch doing nothing except putting on weight and allowing the ailments to capture your body. Of course the children are not on the run but carrying out no work and more of unhealthy practice. The time should be reduced in order to be healthy and fine. It not only strains their eyes but makes them dumb and detaches them from the socialization.

Last step to maintain proper Weight in Children is the exercise and a good span of night sleep. Exercise is what we do to experience the change in our lifestyle. Daily exercise has always been a postulate with immense positive results. This practice in the kids makes them energetic and put them in good health and should be done on a regular basis. Well what is immensely neglected now a days is the sleep. Children hook up till late night ignoring their sleep which results in further weight gain and various other ailments. 6-8 hour sleep should be compulsory so as to keep the children away from obesity, insomniac and other problems. Therefore, the study analyzed that the children who followed all the 3 steps were the slimmest as compared to those who followed only one or two.
