Steve Philips Bares bares sex addiction on Good Morning America

Steve Philip the famous ESPN sports analyst is in a confessional mode after completing his treatment for sex addiction at the famous Gentle Path Sex Addiction Center in Mississippi. Steve Philips sex scandal which was made public by his mistress Brooke Hundley last August had a big impact on him both physically as well as mentally. Brooke Hundley, 22 was a production assistant with ESPN and made her affair with Steve public by sending a hard hitting letter to his wife and followed it up by crashing her car in their house.

Making appearance at Good Morning America a more calm and subdued Steve felt that he was “fully responsible” for all the pain that he has inflicted on his wife and children by stating ““People look at sex addiction as an excuse; it’s not an excuse. I’m fully responsible for everything that I did and accept responsibility for that”.

Philips was full of remorse and felt that he has done an irreparable damage to their relation. The pain that his family experienced after the breaking news of Steve Philips sex scandal with Brooke Hundley was best expressed by his statement “With what my wife and kids have gone through, the trauma that they’ve faced, not only from having a father and a husband that’s a sex addict, but the trauma of the media attention, they’ve been through a lot.”

Like tiger Wood, Steve is also leaving no stone unturned to win back the trust and love of his partner but he feels that scars are too deep and will certainly take some time to heal. “I’m working my tail off to try to save my marriage,” Steve said.

Earlier Brooke Hundley who graduated from Ithaca college in 2008 and previously worked with ABC and Warner bros tried to garner sympathy for her vicious moves by giving first interview in The Today News and justified her action by saying “I simply wanted somebody to get upset enough to have an impact, to get me out of this horrific situation”. The show also saw her shelling out a half cooked apology to Marni Philips, wife of Steve Philips who probably has been the worst sufferer in the entire scheme of things by stating that she “understands her pain”
