London, Oct 27: First Tom Cruise and now Keith Urban, it seems none of the men have been able to live upto actress Nicole Kidman`s expectations of a good husband.
The Mission Impossible actor`s ex got married to country singer Urban in July this year, but their marriage is said to have hit the rocks beacuse of the rocker`s drinking habits, which the Aussie actress reportedly learnt about after getting a tip off by her friends.
Nicole called Keith and confronted him. He got defensive and accused her of spying on him," an insider told Life & Style magazine.
ut Urban eventually admitted his drinking to Kidman, and she flew straight back to the US to be by his side, the insider confirmed.
ources claim that Kidman has given an ultimatum to her new hubby to go to rehab or their fledgling marriage was over. The actress has, however, promised Keith she would be "at his side" if he agrees to seek professional help to get rid of his problems.
She gave him a choice. He could enter a program or she`d leave him," The Daily Mail quoted a friend of Kidman`s, as saying.
He chose the former. Keith can`t stand the thought of life without Nicole. That`s his motivation to kick this thing for good," the friend added.
nd the pal also said that Keith`s problems have had a massive impact on their marriage.
She`s an emotional wreck. She would never say it to Keith, but she`s telling her family and close friends that her marriage is hanging by the thread," the friend said.
She says she wants to help Keith conquer his demons so the two of them can move on with their lives," the pal added.
