Deadline pressure adds to Safety concern on Delhi: Commonwealth Games 2010. people are also of the view that to meet the aggressive deadlines of Delhi Commonwealth Games, the safety norms are being flouted. the situation becomes more alarming when after mishap at Delhi metro, there were six people wounded in the mishap site clearance.

Though the Minister of state for Urban development Saugata Roy said: "The government is in no mad rush to complete the project. Safety is of primary concern."
This is second biggest mishap and so far 100 lives have been lost in mishap around the construction sites of metro and many others have been wounded. Having such mishaps will impact the safety image

of commonwealth games negatively. This will also negatively impact the safety image of Delhi metro for common commuters.
