Tulsi Daasji wrote Ramcharitra Manas some 500 years back .People all over the world reads it & praise Tulsi Daasji for his great work but the real credit according to me should go to his wife Ratnavali.

         Tulsi Daasji used to love his wife a lot; he was a simple but God fearing person. Once his wife went to her mother's home for some days.
Tulsi Daasji was left alone at home. One day he thought to go and meet his wife & that day it was raining heavily but still he managed to reach at her place in night. It was so dark that Tulsi  Daasji was unable to see anything also the excitement of meeting his wife forced him to climb up through a rope to meet his wife. Wife Ratnavali was also happy to see her husband after so many days but suddenly Tulsi Daasji's joy vanished when her wife screamed at him because Tulsi Daasji came up by catching a very dark, long & Poisonous Snake which he thought as Rope. Immediately Ratnavali asked Tulsiji to leave her for ever because he has become senseless in her love & advised him to worship God with the same dedication & love which he has showed for her.

     Tulsi Daasji took those words as Brahm Vakya & left her wife in the search of God. Thus the real credit of making Tulsi Daas to Tulsi Daasji goes to his wife Ratnavali. In other words Behind every successful man there is a lady .
